We leave your hotel very early, heading to the Ollantaytambo train station for a trip that is undoubtedly unique. (The trip is approximately 1.45 hours) enjoy unsurpassed panoramic views and photographic opportunities as the train approaches the town of Aguas Calientes. From there we will have a short bus trip that will take us to the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu, considered one of World’s wonders.
As you stroll through the complex, you will be able to admire the impressive architecture alongside our guide who will share archaeological and historical information about the key areas of interest, sharing interesting theories about the history and importance of Machu Picchu to the Incas. The great views and magic of the place are incomparable. After a two-hour tour at a coordinated time, we go down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch and/or get to know the town a little. If time permits, we can visit the Mariposario, the Mariposas study and research center, where you can enjoy nature in its maximum expression, to finally take the train back to Cusco.
